Who we are

UAE Football Network ("we", "us") helps players train, get seen and connect with clubs across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of the personal information described below.

What we collect

Application details. When you apply or register interest, you submit information through our application form, which is hosted by Microsoft Forms. The form does not automatically collect your name or email address; we only receive what you choose to provide. This may include your name, contact details, age, playing position, playing history, CV, Transfermarkt profile and highlight links.
Your confirmations. Before you share personal details, the form asks you to confirm that you are financially able to support yourself for a trip to Dubai and are eligible to enter the UAE in terms of passport and visa requirements, and to agree to the use of your information as described below. We keep a record of your answers.
Messages. If you email us or message us on Instagram, we keep that correspondence so we can reply.
Technical data. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your IP address and browser details are sent to Google when the page loads. Our site does not set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

To review and manage your player profile and your football development opportunities, including opportunities with clubs worldwide.
To review your application and reply to you.
To invite you to trials, sessions and camps, and to manage those events.
To introduce you to clubs, where you have asked us to or agreed to it.
To keep our records, protect our services and meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Clubs and coaches, only where you have asked or agreed for us to introduce you.
Service providers that host our tools and communications, such as Microsoft (application form) and Google (fonts), who process data on their own terms.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

We only use your information for football-related evaluation, communication and administration. We handle it securely and in line with applicable data protection laws. We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including UAE data protection law and, where it applies to you, UK or EU data protection law, you can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you;
correct or update it;
delete it or restrict how we use it;
stop sharing it with clubs; and
withdraw any consent you have given.

Email info@uaefootballnetwork.co and we will respond within a reasonable time.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Players under 18

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should submit the application and agree to this policy on your behalf. We will not knowingly hold a child's information without a parent or guardian's involvement.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No online service is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information, such as passport or payment details, unless we have asked for it.

Third-party links

Our site links to services we do not control, including Microsoft Forms and Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
